PARTNERSHIPS 

District of Columbia Public Schools  (DCPS)
DCPS provides space in its facilities, access to pertinent student academic records, professional development and a host of other resources to support the Community Based Organizations that provide services to DCPS students during out of school hours. The Learning Tree has been privileged to enjoy this partnership since 2008 when the Out-of-School-Time Office was established.

Office of the State Superintendent for Education (OSSE)
The Learning Tree has been funded by OSSE to provide out-of-school time services for 75 TANF eligible students to participate in both the regular school year and summer session free of charge.

The DC TRUST
The Learning Tree works in collaboration with The Trust to provide funding for 25 eligible  students from Watkins Elementary School to participate in out-of-school-time activities free of charge.

COLLABORATIONS

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
NASA Goddard Educator Resource Center has provided training and professional development for the delivery of an excellent STEM and Fitness Curriculum, in addition to an extensive inventory of supplies, materials and equipment.
 

Educators 2.0
Educator 2.0 has partnered with the Learning Tree to present the Pearl Project, an engineering curriculum designed to foster critical thinking and problem solving skills while encouraging girls to enter the STEM fields.  They have provided a curriculum, professional development and materials for the implementation of the program.
